Digital Film Making and Writing for Publications are the two courses offered within the communications area.

Digital Film Making students study numerous aspects of the field such as programming, equipment use, and  broadcasting techniques as well as participating in the  taping of various school programs and activities.

Publications students study the principles of journalism as they relate to the production of the school yearbook and newspaper.  While writing is the focus of the class, students also have the opportunity to work with photography skills, the Internet and desktop publishing.
