[Coach's Bio]

Greetings everyone.

Sorry for the delay this year in keeping our website up to date.  Many apologies.  Most categories are now updated.

Both the girl’s and boy’s varsity swim teams had a very successful year.  School records were set and championships were won.  The cohesiveness of our team unity and spirit was evident throughout the entire season.  Congratulations to all the swimmers on an outstanding season.

The greatest prize of the year was the double win at the 8th Annual Mustang Invitational.  This is the first time this was achieved.   Both the boys and girls won the team title.  The girls have now been undefeated for two consecutive years.  Cana Iwahara and Nick Douglas both set individual school records.  Also, new school records were established in both boy’s and girl’s relays. Please refer to the school records or top 25 times.

Next year ASIJ celebrates its 100th anniversary.  Many alumni will be watching and participating in events that our centennial committee has scheduled both in the USA and Japan.  We hope ASIJ former swimmers will be part of this special year.  Stay tuned in and stay in touch.  Thank you.
