ARTSCAPE 2008

Welcome to the 2008 Artscape online exhibition. Here you will find out all about this amazing exhibition of art works by children in the Tokyo metropolitan and surrounding Kanto Plains area.

Artscape is the most important international student art exhibition in Japan held annually at the National Children's Castle in downtown Tokyo. More than 600 students from Grade 5 through 12 from 12 schools participate in this event which is held late in February.

The 28th annual art exhibition was on display from February 27, 2007 through March 11, 2008 at the National Children’s Castle (Kodomo no Shiro) in Shibuya. The official opening was on Wednesday 27th February at 4.30pm.

Each year we create a student folder which is presented to all participants. Schools also compete in a logo competition and one school creates our poster design for the year. Sponsors donate money, food stuffs and materials to make this a successful and rewarding event for the students involved.

The event is coordinated by the fabulous Mr. Steve Tootell from International School of the Sacred Heart.
