Tasks: A) Look at these pictures of a Galleon Anchor. B) Watch the video of a treasure dive to find the anchor. C) Think about and answer this question: Can a treasure diver also be a good archaeologist? Can the search for information and the search for treasure go together?

Some things to think about to help you write. 1) Do treasure hunters need accurate drawing and maps of a wreck to find what they are after? 2) Are treasure hunters interested in preserving artifacts for study or museums? Would they want to preserve them for other purposes? 3) Where to archaeologists get money to search for wrecks? Where do treasure divers get their funding? Can the scientists and treasure hunters work together in some way to accomplish their goals? 4) Are there tool or technology that both groups of people need to for their job.
