Fuchu Dai Ichi

 back

Today we went to Fuchu Dai Ichi and I feel it went pretty well. Today when we went, first we met our buddies and from there they took us where we had to change into our indoor slippers and then we went to the gym. In the gym they held the opening ceremony where they danced to a Japanese song and also their band played songs for us and lot more. After that they took us to their classrooms where we made some things with square shaped cardboard and painted them and then played with them. Soon after this we had recess when we tried to spin tops and I could spin them only one time but Japanese students were saying that it was so easy! Then we took a trip of the whole school and I tried to read the Japanese that was written on the boards there. I could read it but I could not understand it. At lunch we had milk, Orange juice, soup with vegetables in it, a fruit, crape, bun and a dish with cheese and broccoli in it. Then we went to the gym and we played some more, after that we had the closing ceremony. Then we went to our buses and our buddies waved us good bye and then we came back. My favorite thing was to make that cardboard thing and then paint it, because it was fun to make it and I liked the way we decorated it. Also when my partner was showing it to me how to do it, he accidentally hit himself in the elbow and then his friend hit him in the other elbow by accident, which was really funny. Another of my favorite thing was when I tried to spin the tops because myself and Brad’s partner were trying to teach us to how to do it and we couldn’t do it. Brad was telling me to see and learn and when he did it, his top didn’t even spin one time! It went well with my buddy because they could really explain it to us to how to do it. I think this time was much more fun because it was really fun and they could understand that what we were saying. Also because that they helped us understand more about Japanese things. It was like us because they also had an opening and a closing ceremony and secondly we had made something and when they had came, same way they also made something. It wasn’t like us because they had their lunch in their room where as we had it in cafeteria in our school and at recess we were allowed to go to the gym. I think it was more like us because most of the things were same. I also think that everything was same except that their school is Japanese. I think this is connected to Japan because this was a Japanese school and we learnt about Japanese customs and traditions, so I will remember these things about Japan. I had a great day and lots of fun.
