My Fuchu Dai Ichi Day
Today we went to the FDI School and I felt the day was really cool. At the FDI school the first thing we did was to meet our buddies and then we put our shoes at the door and put on our slippers. We went to the gym and saw the BIG opening of the day, which they did especially for us. Then we went to an art class to get our presents, which our buddies showed us how to make. Then we had lunch with our FDI buddies, we ate bread, soup, pancakes with sherbet, milk and orange juice and kiwi fruit. My favorite thing was the VERY LONG RECESS because we got to play dodge ball for a very extended time. It was great playing with nice new kids. They were very good players, which made it challenging, and fun. I had two buddies, they were very nice and helpful and caring. They did not speak English at all so I had to speak all the Japanese I know (pretty little). They were VERY good host, they did not leave me alone and did not find me boring.
I was not at ASIJ when the FDI kids came to our school so I do not know what it is like to be the host. But it is really fun being the guest. Going to the FDI school is something I m going to remember because I have only been there once and I think it will be really fun and really cool when they come to our school again and I am sure that I will remember that too.Page written by Noah.
