The fourth grade has established over a decade of cultural understanding between the ASIJ students and those of our Japanese sister school- Fuchu Dai Ichi. Our first get together traditionally happens around Halloween, when their school comes and shares some Halloween fun with us.Throughout the whole time, cards are sent back and forth. We go there in February and finish up by learning about traditional Japanese games, songs and dances. The students have reflected upon both visits. The first paragraph was done in school while the second was a homework assignment. Please click on their names to see the days from their birds eye view!
