Your children are now officially finished with fourth grade! We had a good end of the year, and I am sure that everyone will enjoy the summer break. I hope you have all been able to access your child's electronic portfolio to see all the work they have done. Please also take some time when you can to look at all that they have brought home in their regular portfolios. I would like to remind you of  how important it is for your child to read over the summer. We have recently been working on a web quest program about Iraq. This can be found at scholastic.com, your children know how to navigate to that page. Not only is this set of articles there, there are many other great activities that would be very valuable and even enjoyable for your child to do this summer.

I would like to say thank you for the beautiful blue and white plate that I received from the class as an end of year gift. It is much appreciated and will be put to good use.

Enjoy your travels, wherever they may take you. I hope to see you on campus next year.
