Writing Workshop Literature Math Social Studies Science

Fifth graders are fortunate to have scheduled time to utilize a grade level set of laptops. In addition to the wonderful support provided by Mr. Mikton, we often extend our technology skills with computer lab reservations. Technology applications are widely integrated in the curriculum enhancing tech skills while enriching the learning opportunities. Research process skills for science or social studies rely heavily on note-taking, outlining, and bibliography work. In addition, math is enriched during our work with tessellations and The Million Dollar Project. Presentations are another vital part of our learning experiences which incorporate our technology skills.
