4. Organizing
Organize information and make an outline of your ideas.
Write a first draft.
Edit first draft.

Activities

 

· Discuss/Model with students strategies to organize their information in a sequence, by chronological order or by subtopic.
· From their notes students will create an outline of their ideas in a sequential manner using pen and paper, or Kidspiration/Inspiration.
· From the outline students will write a first draft of their report.
· Students will create a first example of their piece. (if not a written piece i.e.: Drama, art work, oral presentation)|
· Students will peer/and- or teacher edit their first draft.
After peer/teacher edit students will revise their first draft.
