Change the World! (Fiction)

My name is Carlo. I’m 10 years old and I help people who have malaria and leukemia. I give them toys, games and hope. My mom died from malaria and that made me think I Wanted to help people who have diseases. When I was eight, I had leukemia too so I know how the poor kids feel. I might have leukemia again in anytime. I go out in town and give out papers too. The paper asks people to donate money to buy nets for malaria and donate money so scientists can discover a way to cure leukemia. I was afraid that no one will donate money.

It was Saturday night when I was in the hospital dancing for a dance party when I suddenly fainted. I noticed I opened my eye and I was in a private room. My dad was away on business so I can’t meet him and… I felt so aloneL I noticed there were lots of people in my room. I wondered, what? Who are they? Their in the wrong room number!
“Hello. You finally awoke. You were asleep for more than 5hoursWe were so worried. Oh yes, we are from the Japan Asahi TV Company and we would like to ask you some questions. Can we start?”
“Um… ok...?” said Carlo.
The kids that you helped told me you are a good helper. But why did you want to help the kids anyway? “It`s because my mom died last year and I had I mean have leukemia.”
“1.2.3,” they said out loud.
All the kid I helped came in wearing their dance clothes. Some people were crying. Tears started streaking down my cheeks. They were so worried about me. I noticed I was closing my eyes. No. I can`t die. This is my last chance I can tell the world about the poor little kids next to me. This is the LAST time.
“Camera men can I say one thing?” “Sure Go ahead!” said the camera crews.
“Every one I am Carlo and I`m 10 yrs. And I have leukemia. Please know that these kids next to me. Have Malaria and Leukemia. Please donate money for them!” Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep and the heart machine beeped until the nurse came to stop it. The kids were crying on Carlo. Some kids were trying to hold their tears but they couldn’t. They all took turns holding Carlos hand and quietly walked away. The cameramen and crews walked quietly out the door.
That part That scene was played all over the world. Many thanks to Carlo from that day everyone donated money so there was enough money for the nets and enough money so the scientists discovered a way to cure leukemia. It was all Carlo`s speech. Just that little speech made the world change!
