PICTURE THIS 2009

Congratulation to all participants for entering 65 stories.  Selecting a winner was not an easy task!. 
A jury consisting of PTA members, teachers and librarians slected three stories in each category.
Out of these three the illustrator selected the story (s)he most connected with.  And the winners are:...

Poetry - Illustrator Midori Mori
Each of the following students will have poems in the winning collection

Honorable Mentions for Molly Witmer – Getting There  /  Ailee Mendoza -  Race for the Top

Picture Book - Illustrator Rob Foote
Winner : Macy Matthews – The House on Cider Tree Lane
Honorable mentions for  Greta Morgenstern – The Lamb  /  Matthew Schmidt – The mIddle of the field

Stories will be illustrated by the middle of April and books should be published by the end of May.
