Computer
resources are provided to members of ASIJ Elementary school on the understanding
that they are to be used for work related purposes. The school aims to provide
the best available computer facilities and services to staff and faculty with
the least restrictions. In order to achieve this objective, it is essential for
all that use the facilities and services to behave in a responsible, ethical and
legal manner.
Please
observe the following usage regulations to protect ASIJ’s hardware, software
and data against damage, unauthorized use, theft and fraudulent manipulation.
7. The use of the Internet is a privilege, not a right.
Students and staff are expected to abide by the generally accepted rules of
network etiquette. These include (but are not limited to) the following:

Be polite. Do not get abusive in
your messages to others Use appropriate language. Do not swear, use vulgarities
or other inappropriate language.

Illegal
activities are strictly forbidden.
·
Do not use
the network in such a way that you would disrupt the use of the network by other
users.

You may not
attempt to use or alter anyone else's network account.
·
You may not
break in or attempt to break in to other computer systems.
·
You may not
create, share or spread computer viruses.
·
You may not
destroy another person's data.
·
Transmission
or reception of any material in violation of any Government or state regulation
is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to copyrighted material,
threatening or obscene material, or material protected by trade secret.
