Some of the countries in the Arab Middle East make the news these days because of bad things happening there. There are people in the West who think of the Middle East as a place full of terrorism and war. This is a mistake. The Middle East is a wonderful area of the world full of amazing tourist attractions, rich in history, the birthplace of 3 major world religions and a great meeting point for new interesting scientific ideas from East and West. Here live some of the most welcoming people on our planet, dressed in beautiful traditional costumes and blessed with plentiful delicious food and excellent music.
