Guidelines

Below you will find guidelines to help your organize your project.

  1. Create a folder for your group in the O drive> Grade 5> Class Folder> in the Colonial Newspaper Folder, the folder should be named after your colony.

  2. Save all your images and word documents in this folder

  3. When creating a Newspaper in Microsoft Publisher. only have it open on one machine, and collectively copy and past your articles and image onto the Publisher document.

  4. Save frequently.

  5. Cite all your sources both text and images.

  6. Read the below Rubric or download it as a group and periodically refer to it to make sure you are on track.

  7. Before printing a black and white copy edit your articles and layout as a group.

  8. Print a Black and White copy for the other colonies in your class.

  9. Make sure each team member has a saved copy of your newspaper in their Electronic Portfolio Folder.

  10. Print one color version for each member of your group.
