The court of Spain will equip you with three ships and crew, wares, supplies for 6 month  and ammunition . On each ship a court royal and one representative of the church will accompany you. Before your departure you will be required to give full details of the following:

This should be done as a  large poster (see checklist) to be posted around the Spanish Court for all to see including the below points! Once this is completed you will be expected to present your findings orally (see rubric) in front of his majesty Ferdinand King of Spain and Isabella Queen of Spain.
  • Your full name

  • Nationality and place of origin

  • Where you where born

  • Your family history, including siblings and other important members

  • A history of your education and interest

  • What training and skills you will bring to this crew

  • Who has influenced you and had an impact on your desire to explorer

  • Any other personal information which will help the crew understand you better


The court expects you to keep detailed information about the financing and support for the expedition in the ships logs and when possible these should be sent back to the court for review

  • Information about company/country which supplied the ships

  • Make a point of mentioning the rulers (us...ha!) ordering this exploration

  • The reasons the is trip is taking place

  • The upcoming results of the expedition

  • Mention any further expeditions you will or have been involved in

  • How did / or will this expedition help the court and kingdom ( what did they get out of it)

  • Include any other facts about the country/court/kingdom sponsoring you


During the expedition every detail, event, and discovery needs to be carefully logged into the expedition log, and then duplicated by the scribes on each for the courts historical records.

  • What is the goal of the expedition

  • What did you discover on landing in the new land,: ( resources and people)

  • What route did you travel

  • Explain and describe the problems encountered by your crew during the expedition


Please any other miscellaneous information not included in the above  

  • supplies you brought

  • life in your age for example


Finally the Court would like a personal reflection to be part of the poster sharing what is the positive impact or negative impact of your discovery. Make sure to support your opinion with examples from your experiences (research) during your travels.
