Journey Up the River- a 3rd Grade WebQuest
Picture Source: http://www.peacockbassanglers.com/images/ A very good friend of yours has unexpectedly invited you to join him/her on a month long trip to the Rainforest of Brazil and journey up the Amazon River.
Pictures taken from Amazing Rainforest That evening you and your friend sit down and watch this Movie (click here!) to find out about Rainforests. You are excited and really anxious to leave. Your parents give you permission to go, you get special time off from school BUT for you to do this your Principal, parents and teacher make a deal with you. When you come back you need to do a full school presentation to your peers about your journey using Inspiration and Power Point and explaining your adventure and all the new things you have learned.
You are packed, ready, and heading to the airport for your big adventure. You have a special note book and with this a set of specific tasks to collect information for your classmates, teacher and school.
