In the morning they were running out of wood. The man had to go out of the house to chop wood. An oni came and said, "I am going to break your house down."
The man said, "No, you cannot."
The oni took the house because he was so strong.
The man made a new house and made a new fire. The woman said, "I wonder why the oni came?"
The man said, "Because he wanted to make a fire."
The old man and the old woman built a new house out of wood.
The oni got worried because he didn't have enough wood to make a fire. So he came back to the old man and old woman's house. He took the house again. He made a big fire. The old man and the old woman built another house. The last time when the oni got the house he dropped a magic hammer.
The old man and the old woman found the oni's magic hammer. The shook the hammer. They found lots of gold, and lots of money. They had a good life. The lived happily ever after.
