Lion-Behavior

Lions spend most of their time sleeping and lying in the shade. Lions are the laziest animals in Africa. Two male lions from two prides sometimes fight!
Lion/Territory
The male lion guards the territory. A pride of lions has between 4 to 30 animals. Each pride has it's own territory.
Lion/Babies
There are many females and their babies and one or more males in each pride.
Lion/Communication
A lion's roar can carry for more than 5 miles.
Lion/Food
No matter how hard they try a lion will never catch all the animals it's chasing.
Lion/Where they Live
They live in preserves. There are 2,500 in the Serengeti National Park.
Lion/Predators
They have a few enemies which are the zebras and giraffes. The lions are afraid of their kicks.
