Babies:
Some babies die in about 8 months & then the female will get another baby. Female cheetahs have up to 2-5 babies.
Description:
If you see a cheetah & you think it's a leopard, look at it's face & see if it has tear tracks. The line on a cheetah's face is a tear track.
Speed:
Every part of a cheetah's body is built for speed. If cheetahs couldn't run, they can not live. Cheetahs can run up to 75 miles an hour. Cheetahs use their tail for balance. The cheetah is the fastest land animal.
Endangered:
People use the cheetah's land for farming. People used cheetahs to hunt. People kill cheetahs for their fur.
Food:
The cheetah stalks it prey with a fast chase. The cheetah kills its prey with a bite in the throat. The cheetah needs to eat its prey fast because if he doesn't eat it fast enough, another animal can come and take its food. Cheetahs eat antelopes, ostriches and other kinds of birds. They eat rabbits and jackals.
