The baby giraffe grows three inches long each month.The mom giraffe leaves the baby in a nursery group.Within a hour the baby could walk and drink milk from it's mom.The baby is fully grown in 4 years.T he baby giraffe is not lucky because of lions. The baby giraffe cannot hunt for food.The baby is six feet tall when they are new born.

At 18 feet the giraffe is a grown-up. A giraffe's tongue could be 20 inches long. Giraffes have four parts in their stomaches.
