The Rhino

Rhinos can be white, black and usually bumpy on his rough, stiff skin. A white rhino is only about six feet tall, when its down on its knees. They weigh TWO WHOLE TONNS! All kinds of rhinos in the world have hoofs. Black rhinos have a little bump on their back. Usually rhinos like to be alone. The rhinos habitat is in the Savannah and the grassland. They sleep on the grass on the ground. the rhino is related to the horse and the tapir. A female rhino can only have one child each. The baby rhino has to stay with its mom four years before the baby goes of and lives by itself. They usually protect themselves with the horn on their nose. They usually only eat grass . Animals that only eat grass are called grazers. But just sometimes they eat trees or shrubs. Rhinos are the second biggest animals in the world! Their only enemies are humans. People usually; 1.Shoot the rhino, 2. cut off the horn, 3. cut off the skin, 4. then they sell it for ALOT of money. They dont need to bend their neck to reach the grass on the ground. Their tails are about twenty-eight inches long. The rhino is endangered. They have an odd number of toes. They weigh their leg weight on their single toe.
