An elephant can weigh 2,000- 13,000 pounds and it is 10.5 feet high and its 10- 13 feet long. Its color is gray and it has a long nose and its big and fat and has big tusks .The home of the elephants are Kenya, and South America in the savanna and the tropical forests. An elephant lives in a clan. An elephants protection is a muscular trunk and thick skin, and they live in a clan that has 10-12 elephants. An elephant eats grass, leaves, and fruit and it eats a lot. The elephants are endangered because of their tusks. Poachers and hunters kill elephants for their tusks. People use their tusks for jewelry, that are made of ivory. Europe helps the elephants. They do not kill elephants. A baby elephant is fully weaned only after 5 years. An elephant uses its trunk for drinking, and for showers.
