by Ilesha
Gazelles are animals that live on the Savannah. They are related to the antelope. The gazelle is 35to 42 inches long. And 23to 28 inches tall. It weighs up to 65 pounds. The gazelle is small and has large black stripes their body. The, young can jump very high and the group thinks its danger. Gazelles are one of 50 different species of antelope. The horns have many shapes and sizes. Because they are fast runners and have horns, it is hard for their predators to eat them. The mother licks her babies. The gazelle can run 43 miles per hour and makes zigzag leaps. Gazelles are herbivore, that means they eat grass and other plants. Gazelles live in Tanzania and Kenya, on the Savannah.
