Where is farming done in Japan?

Less than one sixth of the land is for good farming in Japan . Hillsides lower mountains slopes and level fields are used for farming. Honshu grows the most rice. It is grown on the seacoast because it has more flat land. Hokkaido has the biggest rice farms in Japan. Only 13% of Japans land is farmed. Still Japan grows a lot of food. They do this by using all the space they can .
