What are some interesting facts about farming?

Hokkaido makes special rice . Milk cows are raised in Hokkaido where 25% of the farms are dairy . Not much beef is raised in Japan because there isn't much land. Much rice is grow even on small plots of land because farmers use fertilizer and modern farm machines.
