Where do most
people live? Why?
The first people living in Hokkaido were
the Ainu. The Japanese defeated the Ainu by the Takida family. The
Takida family was ruling Hokkaido. A lot of people live in
Sapporo, the biggest city. Most people don't live in Hokkaido
because the winter months are very cold. In Sapporo there is lots
of flatland and it is by the ocean , so lots of people can live
in Sapporo. That makes it easier to live in Sapporo , so that's why
it's the biggest city.
