What is grown? How is it grown?

Farmers grow rice in Japan they grow it by planting the seeds in mud. Japan grows barley, fruit and vegetables, wheat, soy beans, sweet potatoes, white potatoes, beans, sugar beets, radishes and apples grow on the hillsides. Small areas are used for growing tea and melons. Lots of vegetables are grown in hot houses. If it is not the vegetables season they grow it them indoors. Egg plant, green pepper, cucumber and rice is grown in Shikoku. Mikans, lemons and grapefruit is grown in Kyushu.
