mountains in Japan? How much of Japan is mountains?
Japan's land is mostly mountains.
Mountains cover 3/4 of Japans land. Most people live on a skinny
piece of land along the Pacific Coast of Honshu. The
Kitami, Teshio, and the Kitadakae are the chief mountain ranges of
Hokkaido, Shikoku, and Kyushu. On Honshu the Ou, Echigo, Kitami,
and Abukama are the chief mountain ranges.
