What are some interesting facts about mountains?

In Japan there is 26 active volcanoes. There is hardly any volcanoes in the east. Mt. Fuji's heat is 5 degrees on the top of Mt. Fuji all year long. Some of the names of the volcanoes in Honshu are Yakae yama, Nasudakac and Zaoza. Some of the volcanoes in Kyushu are Aso and Unzendake. The biggest mountain in Shikoku is Ishizuchi san. The name Japan Alps has been given to three high mountain ranges that go north and south, west through through the center of Honshu. Except for Mt. Fuji, all the highest mountains are in the Alps. The tallest mountain in the Alps is Kitadake at 3,192 meters. The highest mountain in Japan is Mt. Fuji. It is a sleeping volcano since 1707. It is 3,776 meters above the sea. On the sea of Japan side are plateaus and low mountains with heights of 500-1,500 meters. Mt. fuji in meters is 3,776 meters high. The mountain ranges go through the middle of the Japanese archipelago like a spine. Some of the names of volcanoes in Hokkaido are Usuzan and Shinza. Some of the names of volcanoes in Honshu are Yake yoma, Nasudake and Zaoza. Mt Aso is the world's largest volcano.
