What are the main
cities? Where are they located?
The biggest city is Sapporo. Sapporo is
the 7th largest city in Japan. There are fewer cities in Hokkaido
and more large farms. Major cities in Hokkaido are, Hakodate,
Asahikawa, Otaru, Muroran, Tomakomai, Obihiro and the most
popular city, Sapporo. Hakodate is near Honshu at the very bottom
of Hokkaido. Sapporo is near the ocean on the west coast.
Asahikawa is near a river.
