A panther weighs about 65 to 125 pounds ! A panther is either spotted or black . The height of a panther is 28 inches. A panther belongs to the cat family. A panther lives in Africa or Asia and it almost always lives alone. A panther is a mammal that likes to live near water. A panther likes to sleep in trees! A panther is a carnivore. A panther will eat a large variety of things, such as deer, baboon, monkey, rodents, birds and lion cubs. Panthers have three types of protection; they have big teeth, they can climb trees and they can swim. Panther babies stay with their mothers for six months, and then they are able to go off alone. A panther and the a leopard are the same thing, except a panther is all black. A panther is one of the few predators of the lion! The panther scientific name is neofelisnebulosa.
