The Ostrich

The ostriches have really long neck and legs and they are really good runners.
Ostrich feathers are named plumes. They are black and white. They live on the Savannah. They are birds that don’t fly. They eat fruit; leaves; lizards; and frogs; birds; worms ; and grasses. They have really strong toe nails and great kicks. Their egg weigh about three and a half pounds which are smooth and hard. It is the strongest bird. It has a big nest and a communal nest. One ostrich egg is as big as two dozen chicken eggs. And; ostriches are really noisy.
