Tama Zoo Field Trip:

by Nina

When our class went to Tama Zoo I saw two moles. I thought it was interesting because they had hair and they were tiny. I liked the moles because it looked like they were smiling at me. I thought it was great because I have never seen a mole before. I learned that moles have hair and they eat worms because I thought moles did not have hair and they ate mud, but I was wrong. The moles that I saw were gray and I saw parts that did not hair. I enjoyed the part when the mole that was in a cage thing was stuck. Then it got loose and then it came back up. Then it stopped. I heard the mole eating a worm. I thought that the moles ate silk worms too and I thought that the worms were big. I thought it was great to see moles for my first time! On the way back, I thought that lions were great too because I did not know that lions could roar 2~3 miles away.
