Tama Zoo Field Trip

Our class went to Tama Zoo. The best thing I saw was the elephant tusk. It felt like a ice cube a little.Some animals looked cool like the lion. Some things I thought were interesting.Like the Giraffe.I didn't know that some giraffes are different.It was fun when the male lion walked close to us.The Insectarium was interesting.Some bugs were weird.Like"bullfrog ant."At the zoo I learned that there are two species of giraffe.The ones we saw were reticulated.I didn't know that zebras communicate by smell.I've seen dead and alive pelicans in California.They eat fish so they are carnivores.I didn't know they in some hostile environment.The cheetah sits upright when it's doing nothing. Inside the Insect place, the butterfly room was humid, tropical, and bright.The tusks of elephants are teeth.At the zoo, you can hold some elephant tusks.Lion's tails help them keep their balance when they walk.I was bumed because I didn't get to see the bald eagle.
