Aurora Borealis

The Aurora Borealis is only found in the North. The lowest aurora is 40 miles above earth. Only astronauts can go through the auroras! Aurora always changes shapes! Aurora changes colors too! The aurora borealis is natural and is made by the earth's magnetic fields. Aurora makes people and most of the artits interested in Aurora. Some people make poems about the aurora.

Arctic Fox

The Actic Fox is the size of a large cat . It is well adapted to cold weather. It is stubby, heavily furred, and has lots of layers of fur. It eats most of the animals except the polar bear and the arctic wolf.The Arctic fox is a meat eater(carnivore).Arctic fox makes a den in day light.In the summer,it changes color. In the spring, the foxes give birth to little cubs. If the den is really good, the den will go on for maybe a hundred years, generation after generation.

Arctic Hare

In tundra, the arctic hare gather up.The Arctic hare changes color every summer and winter.In the summer, the Arctic hare eats a lot of food.The Arctic hare has something like snow shoes so it would not sink into the snow. The Arctic hare do not adapt to cold weather as the southern hare does. When the blood goes through the Arctic hare, it makes the hare much warmer.
