You are sailing on a boat with a couple of your friends and you have a couple oil tanks with you. You are close to the Arctic and it is getting kind of dark. You and Michelle stay up while Eileen and Danny fall asleep. You are tired, but stay up to watch if anything happens.
A couple hours later you go through the biggest wave you ever saw. Then your boat starts to shake and the oil spills from the tanks. You and Michelle escape from the boat with a couple things in hand. You get out a lifeboat and get in. You paddle for your life.
You finally find a ice berg not to far from the boat. Then you remember Eileen and Danny. You try to tell Michelle, but it just won’t come out right. Finally you tell her, "I think we left something on the boat." You say sadly. Michelle thought for a while thinking of what they forgot.
Then she finally said, " I give up. What did we leave behind?" You try to say it, but it won’t come out so you look at the water pretending to sleep like Danny and Eileen. Then Michelle understands you. You left Danny and Eileen on the boat. It is too late now to try to save them. The ship sank with your two best friends fast asleep in the boat.
You and Michelle look at the water longing for your friends that are gone. You look down at the water for hours or at least it feels like it while trying to comfort Michelle. After you and Michelle settle down you use the things that you have brought to make a warm bed. You fall fast asleep dreaming about the oil spill and how it could hurt the environment and all the animals in the Antarctic. It is pretty cold out side, but through the night you get over it.
You awake early in the morning to hear a loud scream. You go see what the loud scream was all about, but you knew it must have been from Michelle. You saw Michelle lying in her bed with a little polar bear cub at her feet. She kept on screaming until the cub went to her mother in their den. You were hungry and you haven't had one bite, not even for dinner last night. You try going hunting, but don't catch much. You don't think you can survive without help and you don't think anybody will answer if you call for help.
