Tarsier

Where it lives: Tarsiers live in Southeast Asia and the Philippines

What it looks like: Tarsiers are very small. They have very sharp claws. They have very big eyes. and they have very sharp teeth.Tarsiers have gray fur. Tarsiers are 124 mm high.

Habitat: The tarsier lives in the canopy. Tarsiers make holes in the strangler fig, that's where tarsiers live.

What it eats: Insects, lizards, bats, scorpions and poisonous snakes. It eats cockroaches, crickets and reptiles for it's diet.

Special Features: Tarsiers are in the same family as the monkey. Tarsiers are named after their tarsal bone [ankle bone] because they can jump very high and land with out breaking his ankle.

How it protects it self: It uses the inside of a stragler fig as its protection.

What are its predators: It 's predator is the owl. People kill tarsiers for fur.
