General Taizu was the founder of the Sung Dynasty, after him ruled his brother Emperor Taizong.

Emperor Shen-tsung (1068-1085) was one of the first emperors to really enforce the Confucian laws.

Testing for goverment jobs were formed by Confusion laws. Eventually Confucianism split into two: The School of Mind whose thinker was Wang Yang-ming, and the other was The School of Principals whose greatest thinker was Chu-Hsi. Another great Confucian thinker was Hu Yuan.

Genghis Khan, originaly named Temujin. Genghis Khan was born around 1167. He invaded China in 1206. He was considered one of the fiercest and cruelest generals of all time; sometimes he attacked villages and put the skulls around the village making other villages surrender without a fight. The Sung Empire allied themselves with the Sung, but Genghis Khan had other plans. He conquered the Chin Empire and after this he also conquered the Sung Empire. Ghengis Khan reigned from 1206-1279.
