Sophia Alekseyevna
Sophia was the daughter of Tsar Alexis and Alexis's
first wife, Maria Liyanov Miroslavkaya. Sophia was also
the sister of Fyodor III, who got the throne in 1676.
Sophia gained regency when her brothor Fyodor III died.
Sophia attempted to sieze the throne for her self, however
she was defeated by Peter who put her in a convent in Moscow.
She died in the convent on the 14, July, 1704.
