Mr. Richard's fourth grade class completed these web pages on the Middle East. When we first started, we found some pen pals that were in the Middle East and we emailed them every week or so. Then further through the unit, we started to learn about places in the Middle East. Then each of us picked a country to study that was in the Middle East. We also had to make a flag of the country that we were doing. Then we looked for books in the library and for information on the Internet. Once we found a good amount of information we began our web pages for the Middle East. Each student had to write information on their country and also complete a "special interest" project. The "special interest" project was a research activity on a topic of our country that we found particularly interesting. We followed a rubric to complete our project. We hope you enjoy our web pages. We learned a lot completing them.
