What Is An Eclipse
An eclipse happens when the moon crosses between the sun and the earth. Solar eclipses happen on earth but only once every year and a half. Maybe an hour or two before the total solar eclipse the moon crosses in front of the sun. Slowly the sky turns dark and eventually the moon covers the sun completely. It is a pretty sight to see a total solar eclipse , just be careful never to l ook straight at the sun, it is so powerful it can burn your eyes.
