Shinto by Christine
Shinto religions means the"way of the gods". It started in Japan. During a festival the statue of the god is carried all over the town followed by big drumming. In the temple garden the people write wishes and put them on the trees. Religion teaches children to be polite, wise and good to everybody. There are gods of clouds, wind, trees, rocks and stars. The ground outside is as important as the inside. The land is carefully landscaped with gardens and pools.
