Buddha has a birthday in the temple that lots of people celebrate. There is not just one Buddhist temple there are lots. In the sixth century Buddhism came from China to Japan. Shinto ceremonies are usually when people get married. Children like to celebrate Buddhas birthday, even they don't complain.
