Many
are made out of shapes, like for example many about the body
parts are made out of shapes.
me 
For example, me means eye. The kanji looks like an eye.
kuchi 
This is the kanji for mouth, as you can see it is in the shape of a mouth.
mimi 
This is the kanji for ear; the bottom right corner is the ear lobe.
There are other types of kanjis made out of shapes, like natural objects.
ki
This is the kanji for tree, the 3 lines at the bottom are the roots and the top is the branches.
yama
This is the kanji for mountain; the longest line is the mountain peek.
kawa
This is the kanji for river, it is in the shape of a river flow.
