Hiragana

Hiragana came from the basic Chinese writing called Kanji. Women first used Hiragana. Men used Katakana and Kanji. Hiragana was also called Onnade, which means women's hand. Later on people wrote poems out of Hiragana. Now, men, women, and children use hiragana.
