Sumo Tournament 2004 |
| Over ten years ago, the elementary sumo club was started by faculty members who wished to share their enthusiasm for this ancient sport. Sessions for first through third grade are provided followed by sessions for fourth and fifth grade students. Students from both groups are then selected to practice for the local Japanese elementary sumo tournament. Once again, ASIJ wrestler's represented the school well, capturing first place in the 2004 tournament. Congratulations on your sumo spirit and attitude. | |
