Despite a rainy overcast day, nearly forty "rikishi" from ASIJ particiapted in this year's Chofu Wanpaku Sumo Tournament.  The wrestlers were grouped by age and initially wrestled at least twice. Rikishi who had less than two losses continued to advance, eventually narrowing the field down to the top two or four rikishi depending on the group. ASIJ rikishi represented the school very well, maintain excellent sumo faces whether they won or lost and always going out and giving their best.  The coaches are certainly proud of each rikishi.
