Introduce Sweatshirt company Goal & Process

Homework: 

1) Use Sweatshirts to illustrate shifts of demand curve. Describe what we could do to shift the demand curve for this product.  Please be specific as we hope to incorporate these ideas into our project. Include a properly labeled graph.

2)  If you would like to include a proposal for a product other than sweatshirts - write it up and turn it in on Friday.

3) Read Text and take notes on pages 73-79.  This reading introduces "Supply" & Microeconomic Equilibrium.  Optional Reading:  How Markets Work (handout) p. 173-178.  Read this if you are having trouble with concepts discussed in the text.

Read, Why we can't say no to Brands"  found on the last page of the optional reading packet (How Markets work).  Highlight or underline significant passages in article.

Bring in two articles on supply OR demand that you might be able to use for a commentary.  Create a graph for both illustrating what changes in the market you believe the articles are discussing.
