"The Sound of Music" has won 6 Tony Awards including best musical and 5 academy awards including best picture. This year, this winning musical came to the stage at ASIJ. The story revolves around Maria, a postulate who leaves behind her rigorous life to serve as a governess for seven children of a widowed naval officer, Captain von Trapp. She wins the love of the children and ends up marrying the Captain. Soon Austria is under the threat of the Nazi invasion and the family must make an adventurous escape across the mountains of Switzerland.
